- Cu Chi - Saigon
Breakfast
at hotel.Morning excursion to visit the famous Cu Chi Underground
Tunnels which have become well-known worldwide as the symbol
of Vietnamese bravery during wartime.
Return to the city for
half-day city tour in the afternoon visiting the War Remnants
Hall and bustling Chinatown with Thien Hau Temple.
Photo stops
at Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post Office and City Hall.

Saigon
- Mekong Delta - Saigon
Breakfast at hotel.
Drive to Cai Be district in the Mekong Delta in the morning.
Upon arrival, take a boat ride on Mekong River to visit the
Cai Be Floating Market where many kinds of seasonal fruits and
vegetables are traded on boats.
Continue the boat ride into the countryside of Vinh Long town
visiting local homes, fruit/bonsai gardens and workshops.
Enjoy a short hand-rowed sampan ride on small canals.
Pick up in Vinh Long town and transfer by overland back to Saigon
via My Thuan Bridge.
Overnight in Saigon.

Saigon
- Da Nang - Hoi An
Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to the airport for domestic flight
to Da Nang.
Meet upon arrival in Da Nang and transfer for sightseeing
tour around the city including visit to the Museum of Cham Sculpture.
Proceed to Hoi An and hotel check-in on arrival.
Free time afterwards.
Overnight in Hoi An.

Breakfast at hotel.
Morning walking visits to old houses, pagodas, local market
and Chinese community's assembly halls in Hoi An ancient town.
Enjoy bicycle ride in the afternoon to the countryside or to
Cua Dai Beach.
Overnight in Hoi An.

- Hue
Breakfast
at hotel.
Drive to Hue in the morning via Hai Van Pass and Lang
Co Beach.
Hotel check-in upon arrival.
Afternoon city tour in
Hue beginning with boat ride on Huong River to visit Thien Mu
Pagoda.
Continue by overland to visit the former Imperial Citadel
and the Royal Tomb of Tu Duc King.
Overnight in Hue.

Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to the airport for domestic flight
to Ha Noi.
Pick up on arrival and transfer to the hotel for check-in.
Free time afterwards.

Noi - Lao Cai
Breakfast at hotel.
Morning visit to the historic Ba Dinh Square
with Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (if open), Ho Chi Minh Stilts House
and One-Pillar Pagoda.
Continue to visit Temple of Literature
and History Museum.
Visit Hoan Kiem Lake with Ngoc Son Temple.
One-hour cyclo (tricycle) ride in the Old Quarter of Ha Noi
and then enjoy some more walking in the area.
Transfer to the
train station in the evening for night train to Lao Cai (scheduled
21:30 - 06:30+).

Arriving
Lao Cai - Sapa
Meet on arrival at the train station in Lao Cai in the early
morning and transfer to the hotel in Sapa (40km away) for check-in
and Breakfast.
Later drive to the outskirt of Sapa town and enjoy
some walk off the main road to visit Ta Phin village of Zao
and H'mong ethnic minority peoples.
Afternoon transfer to the
vicinity of Sapa to Muong Hoa valley where is home to many ethnic
minority peoples such as H'mong, Zao, Zay, Tay and Xapho.
The
landscapes are beautiful to enjoy with terraced fields and local
homes scattered on the mountain side.
Walk visiting Ta Van village
of Zay people.
Return to Sapa in the late afternoon.
Overnight
in Sapa.

Sapa
- Bac Ha - Lao Cai - Ha Noi
Breakfast at hotel.
Drive to Bac Ha district (106km away) in
the early morning.
If today is Sunday, enjoy a visit to Bac Ha
Sunday Market - the biggest and most colourful weekly market
of regional ethnic minority peoples in the mountainous north-west
region of Vietnam.
If today is Tuesday, we will visit the Coc
Ly market which is also one of the most beautiful weekly markets
of the ethnic peoples here.
Otherwise, visit villages of ethnic
minority peoples in Bac Ha and enjoy a boat ride on Chay River
along high cliffs on the banks.
Afternoon transfer to Lao Cai
town and then take a short visit to the Ha Khau (Hekou) border
gate of Vietnam - China on the bank of the Red River which serves
here as a natural border line.
Afterwards drive to the train
station for night train back to Ha Noi (scheduled 20:20 - 05:20+).

Arriving
Ha Noi - Ha Long
Meet at the train station in Ha Noi and transfer to the hotel
for Breakfast (no accomodation).
Afterwards drive to Ha Long
and hotel check-in on arrival.
Six-hour boat cruise in the afternoon
on the magnificent Ha Long Bay - a World Natural Heritage Site
- to enjoy swimming and exploring limestone grottoes.
Overnight
in Ha Long.

Long - Ha Noi
Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer back to Ha Noi in the morning with
short stop at a ceramic workshop in Dong Trieu.
