Day 2: Siem Reap

Start your full day tour with visit to Angkor Wat, UNESCO World Heritage Site, built in the 12th century around 1113-1150. It is the largest Hindu and Buddhist temple in the world and also the most prominent symbol of Khmer civilization and Cambodia today. This is an architectural wonder and priceless cultural heritage famous all over the world.
Then continue to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple with 256 mysterious smiling human head statues on 54 towers, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm which was in the famous movie “Tomb Rider”.

Day 3: Siem Reap – Phnom Penh

Drive to Phnom Penh, the capital of Kingdom of Cambodia, for about 6 hours and on the way visit the local carving village, ancient bridge, spider market as well as Sambor Prei Kuk temple dated 6th-7th century circa 615-635 of the Chen La Kingdom of pre-Angkor period. It has been recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017 for its outstanding cultural and historical importance

Day 4: Phnom Penh - Departure

Morning visit Royal Palace built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The treasures found inside include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90kilograms and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha. Then explore the National Museum dedicated exclusively to Khmer art and sculpture dated as early as the 4th century to the 15th century. Continue to visit Wat Ounalom and Wat Phnom temple which recites the history of Phnom Penh’s name
Then transfer to the airport for international flight back home (flight time to be advised)
